365 Days of Skating
In the summer of 2019 with no experience but ample enthusiasm I decided to embark on a year long project: the #365DaysOfSkate. Over the course of a year I pushed myself to roller skate everyday and learn at least one new trick per week. I tracked my growth, plateaus, and bails daily on Instagram where I've built a platform based on celebrating non-linear progress and sharing the good, bad, scary, and funny sides of skating.

The vintage movement has recently reached Madrid, where connoisseurs are opening shops the welcome both locals and travelers. I went behind the scenes with a few shop owners and customers to learn more about what draws them to trinkets of the past.

Craft Beer Photo Essay
A new cultural revolution is on the rise in Spain: craft beer. Opening tap rooms in trendy neighborhoods and attracting crowds of young people from all across the city, craft beer pioneers have taken on the long overdue task of introducing cerveza artesena to Madrid. I made this for my travel writing course at Syracuse University in Madrid, Spain.

Maverick Music Festival Video
Currently in its sixth year, the Maverick Music Festival is a beacon of hope for indie music lovers in San Antonio. Located at the La Villita Historic Arts Village, this fest combines big name stars and local acts. I shot and edited this piece for the on campus Tiger TV show about pop culture and arts, "Studio 21."
