GRACE FRYE

Hi! I'm Grace. I am an avid storyteller and roller skate enthusiast with a passion for finding creative and impactful ways to share stories. With a background in startups, I like to build new things and believe that the entrepreneurial mindset is what makes me a better journalist. 

 

I previously worked at a Cleveland-based education technology startup called Wisr where I helped to build the full stack sales process from the ground up, managed company marketing during a period of explosive growth, and worked closely with my CEO to establish and cultivate team culture during the transition to fully remote work. Before Wisr I worked as a freelance writer, designer, and marketer for tech startups and interned at Rackspace.

 

I am a graduate of Trinity University in San Antonio, TX, where I served as the managing editor and then executive digital editor for the Trinitonian, an award-winning student paper. In 2019, I received the Society of Professional Journalists National Mark of Excellence award for my reporting for the Trinitonian.
